I forgot that I was going to upload a picture of my album that I got for my birthday. Here's the front and back of it:

Anyway, I hope you all have had a good Christmas/Holiday/Week. I  hope Micky, Peter and Mike have had a good time as well.

To all those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas. This has to be my favourite time of year and so, here's the Monkees singing that famous Christmas song:

Gonna be honest, not the most well known of all those carols that we love but, oh, can't you just hear the way their voices blend. Beautiful.

By the way, this counts as a post from yesterday (chrismas eve) and today, so there. I'm getting better at posting everyday (I'm really not)

But once again, Merry Christmas and if you don't celebrate it, enjoy yourself this holiday!

Jork, I don't know why but there's a lot of Jork

 Recently, I've been listening to- yeah, because I've had things to do while I had them playing- a lot of the Monkees episodes and do you know what I found, Jork. First of all, this moment in (I can't remember the episode so lets go for the song) the music video for Daydream Believer. If he wasn't singing, I think Davy would be whispering something silly in Peter's ear to make him laugh or something naughty to do something far less innocent.

Or there's this look that Davy's giving Peter. Peter is sitting next to him, clasping his hand and Davy's cheeky little smile seems to be saying 'I'm adorable, what ever I've done in the past, you have to forgive this face, you just have to.'
and Peter will.

Just thought I'd share this with you, Jork, it's something to be shared.
Oh, and for those who celebrate it (I am certainly one of those) Christmas is only two sleeps away!

Still Jolenz

In light of yesterday's post about Jolenz, here's a quick painting of the cute couple. Davy does look too tanned and Micky looks as though he has sunburn and they seem to be floating but that's due to the fact that it was sort of a doodle and I couldn't be bothered to draw a bed or the sofa. Still, cute right?

I did not give this pairing enough credit when I first became obsessed with the Monkees. I just didn't see the connection between Micky and Davy as I did with the others. However, I don't know when but I sort of fell for these two together. I think that their relationship would be a lot about play as well as cute cuddle moments like this. And when I say play, I mean just silly games, funny moments sort of thing. I also think, though, that Micky (in the series I just want to remind you) would want to be a bit more 'in depth' with their relationship. Micky might want to talk about feelings and, well, I think Davy might try and listen. In the series, he doesn't seem to like when his friends are upset  I bring up the bit where he's trying to cheer Mike up in 'I've got a little song here' because he seems far more interested in talking to Mike than doing as the others did and make him laugh. Is this not a good enough reason to assume Davy might be interested in listening to Micky talk and maybe even talking himself- because Davy is good at that too, talking about what's going on in his mind. 
But yeah, these two, despite my initial feelings towards them as a pairing, do work. And this one seems very texty so I won't bother going on. These two are... oh damn, I'm gonna say it again... so cute!
