Best Episodes

I think it's time for another best episode post.
Today's is one I confused with Art for Monkees sake because I'm an idiot. It's:

The Picture Frame (AKA the bank robbery)

I sort of overlooked this episode on my initial watching of all the Monkees episodes but on my second viewing, its actually a really funny one. The Monkees go to a studio to shoot a bank robbery scene for a movie that isn't actually a movie. They get arrested, at least, Mike Micky and Davy does. Peter remains on the other side of the cell and he isn't in so much of the episode. Still, there are so many funny parts like Davy giving an accurate description of events (A cat came over and said do you wanna shoot a movie so we said yeah we'll shoot a movie so we shot a movie.) the three breaking into their song Zilch, and Mike breaking into a higher voice to say 'It's like I tooolllld ya, We thought we were doing a movvviiieee. 

A really good episode. Watch it.

I Can't Get Her Off Of My Mind

Here's yet another recording of me playing my keyboard and singing, this time to I Can't get her off of My Mind.

But also, I like to say something, partly related to the Monkees, mostly completely off topic but, despite all we say about the internet, there is one thing I've come to love about it. Yes, there are things such as cyber bullying, a whole array of videos we shouldn't watch (or speak about) and usless social networks that we spend hours on and yet there are places such as Archive of Our Own, and NP. Places where people who like the same things can share their love of it with people from across the world. We can share our work or views and just generally enjoy things with people that do as well. Places like NP, where Monkees fans can be entertained for hours looking at pictures, fanart, fanfiction, reading their views and submitting their own. Its the same for many other fandoms.
I just feel really preachy today so there, love the internet for all the good things it brings us and don't abuse it. It you hate something, why not find something you do like and talk about that instead?
Haters gonna hate I guess. ;)

Nine Times Blue

So, yes, here is my version of Nine Times Blue. Hope you lot out there enjoy it. I'd just like to also say, Thank you to those who have been faithful readers to this blog. There's about four now and a few that I've shown this to so I'm thankful to you all. And how are you all? I haven't asked that in a while (or at all) I feel really drained today so maybe a pretty picture of our Peter Tork would be nice? I'll add it on in the end.

The Door into Summer

Today, I'm posting me playing the keyboard again only, this time, I'm singing as well. Cover your ears people and be prepared to look at the same picture for a minute, here's me singing/playing The Door Into Summer:

I'm a Believer

Something I though would be quite cool to post is me playing a Monkees song on Piano. I can play reasonably well so I hope you guys like my rendition of I'm a Believer played on my keyboard.

The only way I could get it, by the way, is to post it as a video so... be prepared to look at the same picture while listening to my recording.
