You still post?

Like, yeah, I know there is no point in keeping this blog up, but it is for myself more than anything, and I doubt I'll post again any time soon. I just wanted to see what my answers are to this again:

1: Favorite Monkee?
Still Mike.

2: Least Favorite Monkee?
Ok, so I have to say, I don't think all that much of Peter. I love him, I do, but compared to the others, I don't know I just prefer them. He is very talented and intelligent. I just don't get off on him as much as I do the others.

3: Favorite Monkee song?
The Girl That I Knew Somewhere, still, always.

4: Head or 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee?
Head! I've not seen 33 1/3. I've always meant to, but I think Head wins it all the same.

5: Favorite song sung by Mike?

What Am I Doing Hanging 'Round. 

6: Favorite song sung by Peter?

I Don't Think You Know Me. Still. 

7: Favorite song sung by Davy?

Daydream Believer. There really is nothing better.

8: Favorite song sung by Micky?

The Girl That I Knew somewhere or I'm a Believer.

9: Favorite Monkees Episode?

Fairy Tale or maybe The Chaperone.

10: Least favorite Monkees Episode?

Monkees Race Again. Monkee Chow Mein. There are a few I never watch

11: Favorite line from the TV show?

'Well papa bear kinda wanted me to hang around' from Fairy Tale. 

'I want to say here where its safe, with you Michael.' 

12: Which Monkee would you marry?

Micky Dolenz. Don't ask me why.

13: Which Monkee could you not stand to live with?

Davy. I bet he was fucking annoying. But I still adore him.

14: Favorite Monkees 80s song?

That was then, this is now. 

15: Favorite solo song?

Some of Shelly's Blues or Propinquity

16: Favorite Monkees costume from the TV show?

Double buttons and grey flares. 

17: Favorite wool hat that Mike wore?

The first one he wore. Plain green, no buttons.

18: Which Monkee would you take to prom?

Mike Nesmith.

19: Which Monkee do you think is cutest

Looks wize, Davy. Character wise, Micky.

20: Which Monkee do you think is ugliest?

Ok, I don't think any of them are unattractive to look at, but I think the ugliest inside would be Davy, unfortunately. I hate some of the things he said about the Monkees when he left, and about the Beatles. 

Another Birthday for our Boys!

Micky, It's funny how your birthday is on women's day. Isn't that a little coincidental.
Happy Birthday Mr Dolenz, I hope you are being your usual self because I wouldn't want that to go anywhere!
One thing I'll say about Micky is that he seemed to be the most care-free Monkee, he didn't try and justify them, he wasn't constantly grumpy or bitter. He was just Micky. I adore him so much and he was the glue that held the Monkees together, the friend to them all and the wonderful voice that made them.

Mike's Grestch

I painted a picture, pointillism of Mike Nesmith's Grestch... Not much else to say but it's not finished and the picture isn't great but hope you enjoy!

On this day four years ago, Davy Jones, loved by so many, died. So many fans were surprised and devastated. Unfortunately, at this time, I was unaware of who Davy was and so was not hit so bad like others when I found out, three years later. I am, though, glad to be part of this year's celebration of his life with the Monkees and all he did afterwards.
Personally, I adore Davy in the Tv show and I think he is HOT, so when I heard that he was the only one out of the monkees who were no longer with us, I am still quite sad that any should be gone.
We love you Davy, my whole family and many other fans, we'll never forget you.

Even Peter was lost in the English charms of Davy Jones!

“Micky’s the best pal, but my heart connection is biggest with Davy. Davy is capable of as much heart as anyone I’ve ever met. I kind of had a crush on Davy for a while.”
Peter said this in an interview, How cute! 
Despite all that went on after the Monkees, after Peter left and Mike, these four guys must have still had some sort of connection. They went through a whole lot together.
And, wow, I mean, I wonder if any of the guys would admit they had a crush on one of the others... 
Peter, he seems so loving (cute hippy) but I'm sure Micky- who has no shame!- would happily say that he liked one of the others. Maybe we should ask?
